A Pots & Pans Production Announces the Closure of Scotty’s Brewhouse Indianapolis South

A Pots & Pans Production, the parent restaurant management company to Scotty’s Brewhouse and Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co., is on track to open their seventh Scotty’s Brewhouse location in Mishawaka, Indiana, in just a few short weeks.

A Pots & Pans Production also made the announcement today that their Indianapolis South Brewhouse location has shut its doors for good after close of business last night, Sunday, March 31, 2013.  This announcement comes three months after the company’s management contracts for Scotty’s Lakehouse and Scotty’s Burger Joint were terminated by the owners of these 2 locations, MSCB Group, LLC.

“We (A Pots & Pans Production) partnered with MSCB Group, LLC, to open restaurants in the Geist, Columbus and Southport areas but, at this time, have made the mutual decision to direct our focus, separately, on our own individual business models,” said Scott Wise, President & CEO of A Pots & Pans Production, in an official statement.  “We look forward to adding to our five existing independent Scotty’s Brewhouse restaurants with the opening of our Mishawaka and Ft. Wayne locations in the next coming weeks and months and an increased focus on Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company’s continued growth and craft beer distribution,” continued Wise.

Scotty’s Brewhouse Indianapolis South was the third and final location under the management agreement with MSCB Group, LLC.  As partnership agreements were terminated with regard to the Scotty’s Lakehouse and Scotty’s Burger Joint ventures and these restaurants were replaced by Detour, majority owner (80%), MSCB Group, LLC, will transition the Indianapolis South restaurant to a Detour as well.

During this transitional phase, under the advisement of legal counsel, A Pots & Pans Production will not be publicly discussing details surrounding the negotiations or agreement and will announce, at a later date, whether or not that status will change.
